What to Pack
There are a few key items you’ll want to bring on your beach vacation to have the best experience possible. Make sure you’ve got plenty of sunscreen and a few hats to protect yourself from the Florida sun. You may also want a light jacket for those evening breezes or an afternoon rain shower. When to Visit
You don’t have to vacation in the summer to get the most out of Siesta Key. Spring and fall bring much more comfortable temperatures and fewer crowds than the summer months. Even in winter, high temperatures remain around 70 degrees and precipitation levels stay lower than in the summer. There may still be crowds in these winter months, however, as many Northern residents like to visit Florida to escape the cold weather in their hometowns.
