Visit Crescent Beach on Siesta Key

Siesta Key is a hidden gem of Florida’s vacation destinations. There’s plenty of sun and sand to go around, fresh seafood around every corner, and unique attractions for everyone in your group to enjoy.

One of the best places to spend the day is, of course, the beach, and Siesta Key has tons of incredible shoreline. While you’re here, be sure to visit Crescent Beach, just a short walk from our Siesta Key vacation rentals. This spot is perfect for families to play the day away and get in some quality time in the sun.

Where Is It on Siesta Key?

Crescent Beach is centrally located on Siesta Key, giving you perfect access from any of our Siesta Key condo rentals. You’ll find the beach along Clark Road, also called Stickney Point Road, right where Siesta Key connects to Sarasota.

How to Get There

Crescent Beach is easy to reach from anywhere on the Key. This beach is a little less crowded than the other beaches in the area, and the access points can be easy to miss. The easiest way to reach the shore is by the access point on Clark Road, also called Stickney point road, that connects siesta key to the city of Sarasota. Head it just south of Stickney point, and on the Gulf side of midnight Pass Road, you’ll find the access point, along with the parking lot and walkway.

What to Do

Since Crescent Beach is much more crowded than the other shores in the area, is a perfect destination for families. Build a castle in the soft white sand, or stroll along the shore to find a unique seashell! For even more privacy, headed to the southern end of the beach to the point of rocks. Kids will love running in the sand and climbing on the rocks, and the view is simply not to be missed.

Know Before You Go

While Crescent Beach is family friendly, please note that there are no lifeguards on duty here. There are also no facilities here, so be sure to bring all your own food and beach equipment. If you do need anything while you’re at the beach, there are several local restaurants where you can eat or use the facilities. Take this lack of creature comforts as a good thing; it simply means that there is nothing standing between you and nature, giving you the perfect opportunity to disconnect, relax, and unwind.

Other popular beaches on Siesta Key include Turtle Beach and Siesta Key Public Beach. While these tend to be a bit more crowded, you will find more facilities than what is available at Crescent Beach. No matter which beach you choose to visit, you’ll have access to some of the most beautiful views and breathtaking water in Florida.

After a long day in the sun, return to one of our Siesta Key or Lido Key vacation rentals to enjoy an evening with your loved ones.
