Easter Events on Siesta Key
January 23, 2026
The magic of Siesta Key is present year-round. But the spring – a time of renewal, rejuvenation, and new beginnings – is a particularly special season.
And one of the hallmark celebrations of spring is, of course, Easter. It’s an appropriate time to celebrate the season, participate in fun, chocolate-filled activities, and spend time with friends and family.
If you’re lucky enough to be celebrating spring on the island, the community has some very exciting Siesta Key events for this delightful time of year.

Siesta Key Children’s Easter Egg Hunt and Games
Location: Turtle Beach, 8918 Midnight Pass Rd.
On the Saturday of Easter long weekend, little ones up to age 6 have a great opportunity to gather on Turtle Beach for an adorable Easter party in one of the most popular kids’ Siesta Key events.
It’s complete with an Easter egg hunt, games, prizes, and gift bags for all participants to take home. The kids can even pop on into a fire truck, ambulance, and mounted Sheriff’s Patrol tour. The Easter event is rounded out by face painting and other activities.
It will be a beach-themed Easter for your children to remember. Remember to bring your own Easter basket. Registration is required and the event is limited to 150 children. We recommend you sign up in advance.
The event takes place Saturday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $10 for the Easter egg hunt and $5 for games.
Easter Sunrise Service
Location: Siesta Key Beach near the pavilion
If you and your family celebrate Easter, the Siesta Beach Sunrise Service is a true island tradition that will breathe new meaning into your understanding of the holiday.
Hosted by the Pine Shores Presbyterian Church, the Sunrise Service takes place on Siesta Beach by the beach pavilion from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
Whether you silently sneak away to attend this spiritual sunrise or bring the whole family, the Siesta Beach Sunrise Service is a church service with a view. Be sure to bring your beach chair or blanket. It is, of course, entirely free. Don’t miss it this Easter Sunday, April 1st.
Easter Brunch
A perfect way to continue your idyllic beach-themed Easter on Siesta Key is to go for a nourishing and delicious Easter brunch with your friends and family at one of Siesta’s top restaurants.
On the lighter end of the spectrum, you can visit the Village Café (5133 Ocean Blvd., Siesta Key, FL). It’s a cheery breakfast and lunch stop with a large patio that allows you to smell and feel the ocean air as you enjoy a simple Easter morning meal. Get there in good time though, as it closes at 2 p.m.
For a full and formal fine dining brunch experience, try Ophelia’s on the Bay (9105 Midnight Pass Rd., Sarasota, FL), but make sure you book ahead to reserve. To book a seat, call the restaurant at 941-349-2212.
With great restaurants and tons of family-friendly activities, a Siesta Key Easter vacation getaway is the perfect way to kick off the season. Opt for a sunrise swim and stroll on the beach, book a boat tour, or make a home-made brunch from the comfort of your vacation rental after organizing your own little Easter egg hunt for the little ones.
