Siesta Key Nightlife

Siesta Key is a barrier island situated on Florida’s famous Gulf Coast. Looking out over the Gulf of Mexico, this scenic island may be small, but it packs a punch in terms of activities, accommodation and nightlife! If you plan on staying in one of our convenient and comfortable Siesta Key vacation rentals, you’ll find plenty to enjoy in the local area.

Siesta Village – Where The Magic Happens

After you’ve watched a spectacular sunset from one of the many vantage points in Siesta Key, it’ll be time to hit the town – and by that, we mean head down to Siesta Village, where the party will just be starting.

Siesta Village is a close-knit collection of bars, restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops and galleries, all within walking distance of one another, making it the perfect place to visit for a few drinks and some dancing with friends. The Village (as it’s known locally) is also situated in close proximity to many vacation rentals – so you won’t need to wander far on your way back to your accommodation.

Daiquiri Deck

This is one of the most famous dining and Siesta Key nightlife destinations. With a strong ‘tropical paradise’ theme, the bar and restaurant has a fun, casual atmosphere and, as the name might suggest, an enormous menu of tantalizing frozen daiquiris for visitors to enjoy. Try a unique twist on the margarita with the ‘Mangorita’, a delicious daiquiri topped with gold tequila, or sample a truly electric drink with the Terminal Velocity, made up of lemonade, Deck Diesel, strawberry and Bacardi Light Rum.

Daiquiri Deck is open throughout the day for refreshing, ice-cold drinks and delicious seafood in its Raw Bar. You’ll find plenty to tantalize your tastebuds in the restaurant, from buffalo chicken wings to lobster fondue, all rounded off with a traditional slice of Floridian Key Lime Pie! Daiquiri Deck also gets even more fun after dark. You can enjoy live music from local artists, televised and live sporting events, competitions and games and plenty of drinks offers that will keep you sipping daiquiris all night long.

The bar is open from 11am – 2am seven days per week, with a legendary ‘Happy Hour’ offer between 3pm and 7pm – perfect if you’re heading back from the beach and feel like a delicious beverage.

The Beach Club

Also situated in Siesta Village, The Beach Club is a trendy Siesta Key nightlife destination that’s great for those who love to hear live music from local artists and the occasional star headliner. The bar features some of the hottest DJs in Florida, providing the latest hits seven night a week. With an enormous dancefloor, club-style lighting and daily drinks specials that change every twenty-four hours, you’re sure to have a fantastic time enjoying everything The Beach Club has to offer.

The drinks here are incredibly reasonable, especially during the daily Happy Hour timeframes. Every day from noon to 7pm you can enjoy $2 domestic drafts and $4 house wine – then from 5pm to 8pm every day, craft beer lovers can get their fill with the Craft Draft Powerhouse, where The Beach Club’s range of unusual craft beers will be available for just $5.

If you’re hungry after all that dancing and drinking, never fear – The Beach Club is also a great dining venue that provides delicious handmade pizzas starting at just $4 for a slice. You can eat your order in the club itself, or order it to go for a late night snack on your way back to your rental.

Siesta Key Oyster Bar

Want to sound like a local? Then call this bar ‘SKOB’! This relaxed hangout is a great place to start or end your night. Siesta Key Oyster Bar will get you right into the spirit of island life, with great food, budget-friendly drinks and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere – like most places in Siesta Key Village.

SKOB features live music every single night, and is a perfect place for couples or groups of friends to get into the party mood. With a back patio for dancing and an incredibly diverse menu to ensure you’re not partying on an empty stomach, this place has it all. When it comes to drinking, there are over 21 different beers on tap, including domestic lagers, imports and specialty bottled beers. The cocktail menu is equally as varied, with fruity and creamy drinks to satisfy even the most discerning palate.

There are a number of regular performers at SKOB – Ben Hammond brings his own style of soul to the stage on a Monday night, while Wednesdays see ‘Kettle of Fish’ take to the stage. If you feel like busting out a tune yourself, head to SKOB on a Tuesday for Open Mic Night – just bring along an instrument and impress the locals with your skills!
